Fruit sourced from the northern grounds of Ebenezer, matured in oak for 18 months. Deep blackberry, dark plum and mulberry fruits with underlying hints of clove, dried meats, dark chocolate, salted licorice, oak spice, vanilla pod and earth. Displaying the fruit weight and broody intensity of its northern roots, with compressed, fine tannins and a roll of cassis and dark spice on the exit. Drink by 2038

Perfume filled with spices, a mix of baking powders, sweet xmas dusting, Cherry Ripe and cola oak. Ripe berries, lots of perky acidity amidst dark chocolate and soft mushy tannins. A bit of blackberry cordial coating the mouth. Finishing on a drying note of wet wood, dark cocoa and coffee powder, fizzy under the tongue, sweet on the sides. There’s no doubt this wine delivers an intense flavour experience.
