1 x 1.5 Litre Magnum of Terroirs of the Barossa ‘Ebenezer District’ Shiraz 2021

WINEMAKING

To ensure the unique character of this sub-region is exemplified in the wine, small open fermenters and our basket press were employed to gently extract the wine. Ageing in the finest quality oak and selection of the truest barrels has created a wine that respects and expresses its place of origin.

The Barossa has some of the oldest and diverse soil types in the world, contributing to what makes our wines unique. Discover the differences between Barossa’s sub-regions. A journey through the Terroirs is a lesson in the Barossa’s versatility. This is the 11th vintage of this wine from the Ebenezer District, an area famous for its elegant and structured style of Shiraz.

Soil: Red Brown Earth on Calcerous Subsoil

Altitude: 278m

TASTING NOTES

Shiraz wines from this region are typically characterised by lifted aromas of lavender and spice. The palate is full of red fruits, leather, cedar and fine, talc-like tannins.
