TASTING NOTES
A medium bodied wine with aromas of blackberry, plum and white pepper supported by spicy, dark berry fruits and rich dark chocolate on the palate. The extensive finish is framed by elegant, fine-grained tannins.

A single vineyard Barossa Grenache, the vineyard sitting next to Chateau Tanunda. A percentage of whole bunches were included in the fermentation and the wine saw a year maturing in older French oak puncheons.
At the moment, its predecessor takes the chequered flag in a photo finish but given time, expect this to lift. Deep crimson in colour, this is red fruit dominant, with cherries, cranberries, florals, cloves and dusty road notes. A little chocolate as well. This is intense, with good focus and silky tannins on a medium length finish. Half a dozen years will sail by. Lots to like here.

Jump right in, this grenache is swimming in lively, fresh flavour. Maintains a charming, easy going vibe, but it’s also got the stuffing for further ageing. That’s a win-win. Black pepper notes brighten the dark plum and cherry-berry fruits with crushed clove and spices. Tannins are supple - hence, the easy-going delivery – and black and red plum fruits shine on the palate enhanced by a spiciness that brings added depth. Builds weight through the finish, Impressive.

Here is a grenache that's been designed very much in the modern idiom. It's medium-bodied and designed to capture all of the delightful perfumes of this variety, with those floral rose petal notes and some slightly peppery raspberry. It has a crunchy vibrancy about it on the palate, with those lifted red fruits bouncing through effortlessly to a long finish. Seamless and delicious. Give it a bit of a shake or decant before you drink, and this will open up nicely if you intend drinking in the short term.

Aromas of blueberry, satsuma plum, spice, earth and dried herbs. Darker fruited in flavour, plum, dark cherry, firm tannins and snappy acidity. Smart presence and life, long and layered.
