This is immediately appealing on the nose, showing sweet cherry, wild strawberry, floral and Moroccan spice nuances. The palate displays soothing mouthfeel and fleshy texture, well supported by layers of elegant tannins. Wonderfully harmonious and varietally expressive, making it highly enjoyable. At its best: 2026 to 2037

A bright and highly scented grenache that comes off handpicked vines in Bethany within the Barossa. It’s a region that produces fruit of great character and poise with medium weight and highly scented aromas. All of that has been captured in this excellent wine. Seamless and pretty with good depth and flavour. A lot to like here.

A single vineyard Barossa Grenache, the vineyard sitting next to Chateau Tanunda. A percentage of whole bunches were included in the fermentation and the wine saw a year maturing in older French oak puncheons.
At the moment, its predecessor takes the chequered flag in a photo finish but given time, expect this to lift. Deep crimson in colour, this is red fruit dominant, with cherries, cranberries, florals, cloves and dusty road notes. A little chocolate as well. This is intense, with good focus and silky tannins on a medium length finish. Half a dozen years will sail by. Lots to like here.

Medium-deep crimson. Red cherry, chinotto aromas with roasted walnut notes. Flavourful and slurpy, with fresh red cherry, red plum, cola fruits, fine supple textures, underlying savoury/roasted walnut, hint cedar notes and well-integrated acidity. Drink now–2028
