Château Tanunda Semillon Barossa 150 Year Old Vines 2021
Score: 96 Points
2 Oct, 2022 – The lemony and smoky character of this remarkable semillon is at once deep and discreet. The creamy texture and excellent concentration on the palate is wonderfully atypical for this variety in Australia and comes much closer to top white Graves from Bordeaux. Long, waxy finish with a ton of herbal complexity. Limited production. Drink or hold. Screw cap
Château Tanunda Shiraz Barossa The Everest 2018
Score: 94 Points
3 Oct, 2022 – A very rich and velvety old-vine shiraz with enormous richness and a stack of fine tannins. Loads of super-ripe blackberry fruit, but also savory notes, plus hints of dried banana, unrefined brown sugar and bitter chocolate. Very long and rich, but beautifully balanced finish. Hand-picked, basket-pressed and bottled unfiltered. Drink or hold.

3 Oct, 2022 – Deep nose of damson plums, beautifully ripe blackberries and elderberries. Impressive concentration and ripeness, the expansive palate underlined by a stack of fine tannins. Just a touch of tar character at the long finish, which packs quite a punch. Drink or hold.
