A cracking value Barossa blend which would more than exceed expectations at your next gourmet BBQ with good friends. Grenache (50%), Shiraz (30%) and Mourvèdre (20%) form the blend. Maturation is in a mix of French and American barrels, both new and older. Crimson/purple in colour, this is a touch briary with notes of blackberries, dry herbs, root vegetables, mulberries, cranberries and warm earth. Good concentration through to a firm finish, the wine is of medium length. Enjoy over the next eight years.

Medium-bodied Barossa blend here, with those lovely lifted notes of cherry and raspberry, and some slightly peppery characters adding to its complexity. There's a little bit of oak influence from the French and American contributions, and yet this is a wine that's really designed for immediate or short-term drinking. It's balanced, it's poised, and it has a lovely structure that carries through to its long finish. Cellar 6 Years

Sweetly fruited and inviting, the bouquet offers dark plum, wild strawberry, olive, and warm-spice aromas with a floral overtone. The succulent palate offers a supple mouthfeel, silky texture and finely integrated tannins, making it harmonious and smooth with a lengthy, tasty finish. At its best: now to 2035.
