Château Tanunda has just been awarded the prestigious 5 Red Star Winery rating in the newly released Halliday Wine Companion Awards, recognising us among Australia’s best wineries. This marks our fourth consecutive year as a Five Star rated winery.
Halliday Wine Companion defines a 5 Red Star Winery as an “Outstanding winery regularly producing wines of exemplary quality and typicity.
Will have at least two wines rated at 95 points or above and has typically held a 5-star rating for the previous three years (i.e. 4 years in total at 5 stars).”
This year, 15 Château Tanunda wines were rated between 90 and 95 points, with an outstanding four wines awarded 95 points. (see all the ratings in the attached pdf)
