Grand Barossa Dry Riesling 2024
$25.00 / bottle
Grand Barossa Riesling grapes are selected from our estate vineyards on the Biscay soils of Tanunda and the deep sands of the Vine Vale sub-regions. Some of these vines are 100+ years in age, adding to the complexity and depth of flavour of this wine. This tapestry of ‘terroirs’ enables us to create our classic and refined house style.
TASTING NOTES
Aromas of aromatic musk, ginger and zesty citrus lead to textured stonefruit flavours on the palate with a crisp, refreshing finish. Although drinking beautifully now, this wine may be cellared for up to eight years from vintage.

Pale colour. Classic camomile, pure lime aromas with hint slatey notes. Pure, tight and minerally with lime cordial, camomile, crispy apple flavours and fresh linear acidity. A touch of torque at the finish. Racy and refined wine with superb length. Let it age for a year. Drink 2025–2035

Fine with excellent clarity, the delicately fragrant bouquet shows lime cordial, fresh fig, crunchy apple and white floral aromas, followed by a linear palate that's focused and finely flowing. Splendidly structured and balanced with a lengthy mouth-watering finish. At its best: 2026 to 2036.

Riesling from a wonderful vintage from the Barossa sub-regions of Tanunda and Vine Vale, some of the vines used here exceed a century in age. This is pale straw with a nose exhibiting bath salts, spices, citrus, talc and a minerally backing. There is a touch of lemongrass as well, with limes and florals. Lovely soft palate/texture, this is a pleasingly gentle style. Medium length but there is fresh acidity running the full journey. A fine Riesling for enjoying over the next six to eight years

Riesling was very good this year and it shows all its virtues in this excellent wine from the Barossa. Crisp and dry it opens with a floral lime and lemon combination on the nose. The palate has a degree of tension but there is nice texture and weight delivered with a fine precise acidity.
