Tasting Notes

This unique single vineyard wine shows all the delicacy, elegance and finesse that can be achieved from this most noble variety.

The nose shows lifted aromas of lime blossom and citrus fruits, while the palate has great intensity and length with mouth-watering acidity.

Vinification

2010 was an excellent growing season in the Eden Valley thanks largely to above average winter, spring and early summer rainfall whilst vintage itself was cooler and earlier than recent years.

A fragrant bouquet with touches of spice and talc; a full-flavoured palate with a core of lemon citrus fruit; good length. Screwcap.

Pretty powder puff and lemon along a pleasing spiciness. It’s full of flavour cut with slightly tart acidity and has a pretty decent finish, although not great. All present and correct. A fine example of Eden Valley Riesling. 91 Points
